Meals for Students

  • Recently the regulations changed for the school meals programs and we are happy to share with you that we are able to offer free meals to all students and children (18 and under) in the district. We encourage all families, regardless of economic status, to take part in this program. Please know that this program is funded by the Federal government and that the more students that participate in the program the better we can make the program benefit all our families.

    Digital Academy students and other children under 18 have the option to pick up 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM at the Susquehannock High School auditorium entrance in the school bus lane. No preregistration is required.

    If your children are in our hybrid learning system, you have two options for obtaining their free breakfasts and lunches for those at home learning days. We will deliver them to students to bring home from school or you can swing by our meal service pick up weekly at the Susquehannock High School auditorium entrance in the school bus lane.  Just pull up and we will give you the meals!  

    A Schedule Students - 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches available

    • OPTION 1: Order online via this link and we will send meals home with the students. To register, please have your student’s name, POS ID (if known), the building they attend, and their bus number/parent pickup/driver. Please complete a pre-order submission for each student each week. Submissions must be made by 8:00 PM on Friday, for the following Monday/Tuesday schedule.
      • Breakfasts home on Monday(3) / Lunches home on Tuesday(3)
    • OPTION 2: Pick up at the high school on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM.
    • Breakfasts and lunches offered for free in school on school days.

    B Schedule Students - 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches available

    • OPTION 1: Order online via this link and we will send meals home with the students. To register, please have your student’s name, POS ID (if known), the building they attend, and their bus number/parent pickup/driver. Please complete a pre-order submission for each student each week. Submissions must be made by 8:00 PM on Tuesday, for the following Thursday/Friday schedule.
      • Breakfasts home on Thursday(3) / Lunches home on Friday(3)
    • OPTION 2: Pick up at the high school on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM.
    • Breakfasts and lunches offered for free in school on school days.

    Please remember, if your child is bringing home meals after their in-person instruction days, a meal should not be picked up for them on Wednesday. 

    This program is available until December 31, 2020, or until we receive further information.
