    Glen Rock American Legion Riders
    The Glen Rock American Legion Riders started a scholarship in 2018 with the intent of permanently endowing the scholarship within ten years. In 2019 they were able to permanently endow their scholarship.

    Jim and Hester Hemminger
    Pioneered the concept of “endowed scholarship into perpetuity,” setting example for many others to follow; currently at core of the Foundation’s strategic plan, ensuring its ongoing service capability. The Hemmingers were a past recipient in 2009.

    New Freedom Lions Club
    Established the model for partnerships with community organizations by using its fundraising potential and the Foundation’s Dollars for Scholars umbrella to assist over 200 graduates with the burden of continuing education. The New Freedom Lions Club was a past recipient in 2009.

    PeoplesBank
    Has lived the model of corporate responsibility and citizenship, partnering with organizations like SYCSD Foundation to sustain their important missions. PeoplesBank was a past recipient in 2009.

    Rose Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary 
    In 2015, the Rose Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary scholarship was created and offered a $500 scholarship to a Susquehannock High School senior. In 2017, they began offering two $500 scholarships or one $1000 scholarship.
