The Susquehannock Alumni Association is proud to present the 11th annual Alumni Spirit Award to Kevin Lawrence. This award is presented to an individual who exemplifies outstanding school spirit and is an example of a true Warrior.

Kevin Lawrence has taught social studies here at Susquehannock High School since August of 2005.  He also serves as event staff here at Susquehannock and is known as one of the YAIAA’s favorite football announcers.  When Kevin is not here at Susquehannock High School, he is involved in several roles that benefit extracurricular opportunities for students throughout York and Adams counties.  Kevin serves student athletes as a coach, official, youth director and as an advocate for education based athletics that stress the importance of character development and sportsmanship.

Kevin currently serves as the head varsity baseball coach at Red Lion High School, is a PIAA basketball official, and serves as the Triple Aces youth baseball program president.  He has also coached girls basketball for the warriors and even coached basketball at Gettysburg College.  Recently, Kevin has been published in newspapers and is currently writing a book about education based athletics in relation to sportsmanship and character development.  Kevin has made a tremendous impact on student athletes both in York and Adams counties and at Susquehannock High School.

Lawrence’s positive attitude has enriched Susquehannock Alumni and the community.
