The Southern York County School District Foundation Dollars for Scholars (SYCSDF DFS) is pleased to announce its coordination of more than 80 scholarship programs for the Class of 2021. Students can start to develop their profile now.
Actual submission for scholarships will be open January 8, 2021 through February 8, 2021.
How to apply for a Southern York County School District Foundation/Dollars for Scholars scholarship:
An application for the SYCSD Foundation scholarships is located at http://sycsdf.dollarsforscholars.org. Click the “Students and Parents” tab on the right side of the page. Then click the "Click to Login" button. If this is your first time signing into Dollars for Scholars ChapterNet, click the “Don't have an account yet? Create one here.” link in the center of the page. Otherwise, use your existing account information to sign in. Once you sign in and complete the application, you will be matched to Foundation scholarships for which you qualify. It is important to answer all information completely and thoroughly. Some scholarships will require parents and references to sign into the system to complete required sections. Students: Please remember these important items when entering your information on the SYCSDF DFS scholarship website.
- Students should check that the school uses a weighted 4.0 scale in the GPA section.
- Parents must fill out financial information and give students permission to apply for scholarships.
- Students should also enter Samantha Whittie email@example.com as the School Counselor in the transcript section.
- Students should search for matching scholarships by clicking the button under “My Scholarships.” Once students are matched they will need to click the “Submit App” button for each scholarship.
