• Mrs. Kathy Yeater Mrs. Yeater served as the Director of Orchestras in SYCSD for 32 years. Mrs. Yeater’s students were frequent members of the PMEA District, Region, and PA All-State Orchestras. In 1996, Mrs. Yeater received the National School Orchestra Director of the Year Award, an award given to one individual in the nation.  This endowed scholarship program now exceeds $20,000 and continues to grow due to the generous contributions of those who wish to honor the amazing teaching career of Mrs. Yeater.

    Mason Dixon Soccer League Offering both intramural and travel programs, the Mason Dixon Soccer League is an organization that prides itself on bringing “the beautiful game” to hundreds of children (both boys and girls) in Southern York County. The Mason Dixon Soccer League stands as one of the Foundation’s longest standing community scholarship sponsors.  Its participation, since 2005, has served as a model for other area youth organizations.  

    Southern Community Services Southern Community Services (SCS) provides social services in Southern York County to families and individuals with human service needs. For more than 30 years, SCS has assisted residents to overcome barriers and to become more economically stable.  Since 2006, the SCS Community Volunteer Scholarships have been generously funded by SCS to reward students who actively volunteer in the community.

    Southern York County Business Association The Southern York County Business Association (SYCBA) works to attract, promote and keep business in Southern York County.  Its purpose is to make a positive impact on the success of member businesses and the local community.  One of the many positive programs of the SYCBA has been an annual scholarship program.
    Warrior Youth Wrestling Club Warrior Youth Wrestling Club provides opportunities for youth in Southern York County to train and compete in the sport of wrestling. Since 2005, this volunteer organization has generously provided a Susquehannock High School senior, who has participated in the Warrior Youth Wrestling Club program, with a Warrior Youth Wrestling Club scholarship.
