From Shrewsbury
At the intersection of Main St. and Forrest Ave., head west on Rte. 851 (also called Forrest Ave.) and pass the fire station on your right.  Stay on Rte. 851 West, toward New Freedom, for about 1 and 4/10 miles,  passing through the town of Railroad, until you come to a stop sign.  Turn right onto Rte. 616 North.  You'll be on this road for about 2 miles and will go through two one-lane underpasses (10 foot clearance).  Shortly after the second underpass, you'll come to a "Y" in the road with a stop sign.  Bear left onto Fissels Church Rd.  Travel for 8/10 of a mile, then turn right into the school campus.  Entering the campus, Southern Elementary School is on the left, Susquehannock High School is in the middle, and Southern Middle School is on the right.  The District Administration Building is attached to the east side of the high school.

From New Freedom
Traveling on E. Main St., head toward the Rutter's convenience store.  Soon after passing Rutter's, you'll see a sign pointing toward Rte. 851 West.  Bear left here, then go 1/10 mile and turn right onto Bowser Rd.

Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Country Club Rd.  Travel for 8/10 mile until stop sign.  Turn left.  This is a continuation of Country Club Rd.

Go 1 and 8/10 mile until the stop sign.  This is the corner of Country Club Rd. and Fissels Church Rd.  Looking straight ahead, you will see the school campus. 

Turn right onto Fissels Church Rd.  Go less than a block and turn left into the school campus.  Entering the campus, Southern Elementary School is on the left, Susquehannock High School is in the middle, and Southern Middle School is on the right.  The District Administration Building is attached to the east side of the high school. 

From Glen Rock
From the square in Glen Rock, head south on Rte. 616 South (Baltimore St.).  Stay on Rte. 616 South (there will be a big curve to your right and the road name changes to Pleasant Valley Rd.).  When you get to a "Y" in the road (intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Fissels Church Rd.,  bear to the right onto Fissels Church Rd.  Go 8/10 miles (there will be a big left-hand curve) until you get to the campus entrance on your right.  Turning into the campus, Southern Elementary School is on the left, Susquehannock High School is in the middle, and Southern Middle School is on the right.  The District Administration Building is attached to the east side of Susquehannock high school.

From York
Heading south from York on Rte. 83, take Exit 8 (Glen Rock).  Bear right at the end of the exit ramp, heading toward Glen Rock.  Travel  7/10 miles until you get to the "T" intersection.  Turn left onto Rte. 111 (Susquehanna Trail) and go about a block.  Turn right onto Church St. (Rte. 216 West).  Go 2 and 7/10 miles until you come to a stop sign.  Turn left and go about 2 blocks until you come to a traffic light.  Turn left onto Baltimore St. (Rte. 616 South).  Stay on Rte. 616 South (there will be a big curve to your right and the road name changes to Pleasant Valley Rd.).  When you get to a "Y" in the road (intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Fissels Church Rd.), bear to the right onto Fissels Church Rd.  Go 8/10 miles until you get to the campus entrance on your right.  Turning into the campus, Southern Elementary School is on the left, Susquehannock High School is in the middle, and Southern Middle School is on the right.  The District Administration Building is attached to the east side of Susquehannock high school.

From Hanover
Head east on Rte. 216, heading toward Glen Rock.  You'll pass Rte. 516, then Friendship Elementary School.  After passing Friendship Elementary, go approximately 7/10 miles, then turn right onto Fissels Church Rd.  Travel approximately 1 and 6/10 miles, and the school campus will be on your left.  Turning into the campus, Southern Elementary School is on the left, Susquehannock High School is in the middle, and Southern Middle School is on the right.  The District Administration Building is attached to the east side of Susquehannock High School.

From Maryland
Heading north on Interstate 83, take Maryland Exit #36 (Maryland Line).  At the end of the ramp, bear right onto Maryland Rte. 439.  At the next intersection, turn right onto Maryland Rte. 45, heading toward Maryland Line.

Go 2 and 8/10  miles.  There will be a bank on the left.  Turn left here onto Campbell Rd., heading toward New Freedom.

Go 1 and 1/10 mile.  When you see the Lutheran Church on the left side, bear right onto E. Main St.  Stay on E. Main St. for 6/10 mile.

Soon after passing Rutter's, you'll see a sign pointing toward Rte. 851 West.  Bear left here, then go 1/10 mile and turn right onto Bowser Rd.

Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Country Club Rd.  Travel for 8/10 mile until stop sign.  Turn left.  This is a continuation of Country Club Rd.

From York

Coming out of New Freedom on Constitution Ave., go past the YMCA and continue until the stop light in Shrewsbury.  Turn left onto S. Main St.  Go 1/2  mile.  There will be an empty field on your left and houses on your right.  Turn right at the "Shrewsbury Elementary School" sign, which is located in a resident's yard. The school is not visible from Main Street.

From Glen Rock
Coming out of Glen Rock via Church St., turn right onto Rte. 111 (Susquehanna Trail), heading toward Shrewsbury (approximately 4 miles).  From the square in Shrewsbury (intersection of Main St. and Forrest Ave.), continue straight for 1/2 mile.  Just after you pass Silbaugh Memorials on the right, get into the left-hand turn lane and turn left into the school campus.  The school is not visible from Main Street.

From York
Heading south from York on Rte. 83, take Exit 4 (Shrewsbury).  At the end of the exit ramp, bear right onto Rte. 851 West (also called Forrest Ave.).  Travel 5/10 mile until you come to the third traffic light (corner of Forrest Ave. and Main St.).  Turn left onto S. Main St.  Go 1/2  mile.  Just after you pass Silbaugh Memorials on the right, get into the left-hand turn lane and turn left into the school campus.  The school is not visible from Main Street.

From Hanover
Head east on Rte. 216, heading toward Glen Rock.  When you come to the square (traffic light) in Glen Rock, continue straight for a few blocks.  Turn right onto Church St. (Rte. 216 East).  Travel for 2 and 7/10 miles until you come to a stop sign.  Turn right onto Susquehanna Trail South, heading toward Shrewsbury (approximately 4 miles).  From the square (traffic light) in Shrewsbury (intersection of Main St. and Forrest Ave.), go 1/2 mile.  Just after you pass Silbaugh Memorials on the right, get into the left-hand turn lane and turn left into the school campus.  The school is not visible from Main Street.

From Maryland
