Instant Decision Days

  • Instant Decision Days

    At Susquehannock!

The SHS Counseling Department has partnered with various colleges to provide on-site admissions events here at Susquehannock High School. Students will need to apply online to the school around one week before the school’s scheduled Instant Decision Day. On the day of an event an admissions counselor from that college will meet with students one-on-one to discuss the status of their application. Students can find out instantly if they are accepted to that school!

Currently, Susquehannock High School will be hosting five (5) schools for Instant Decision Days this coming Fall; Millersville University, York College of Pennsylvania, Kutztown University, Bloomsburg University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).

Students who are interested in attending an Instant Decision Day need to sign up with their account under the “College Visit” section in Naviance® before the school’s listed signup deadline. Art and Music Majors will require an additional review process. In that case, the Admissions rep at the event will explain the process to the students and provide feedback on their application.

Before taking place in an Instant Decision Day you may want to consider the following:

    • You will need to have taken the SAT or ACT at least once before August 2017.

    • You will have to dress in casual dress attire.

    • You are not required to go to that school if you are accepted.
