Intervention/Enrichment (I.E.) Period

  • In order to meet the needs of all of our students and ensure that all students are making growth, Southern Middle School has developed an Intervention/Enrichment (I.E.) period. This school year, all students will participate in a thirty minute I.E. period which will run immediately after homeroom. Students will be assigned to a variety of intervention/enrichment activities. Interventions will primarily support mathematics, reading, study, and social skills. Enrichment activities will allow students to participate in student-created project based learning activities.
