Physical Information

All student athletes in grades 7-12 in the Southern York County School District must have submitted a completed PIAA Physical prior to the start of their sport season. PIAA Sections 5-6 are due in the athletic training room to Trainer Kallie. You can scan and email them to kallie.heiges@sycsd.org or turn them into the high school main office to put in Trainer Kallie's mailbox. PIAA Sections 1-4 should be completed online.  

Note: We are no longer using ImPACT, so baseline ImPACT tests are not required for tryouts. 

Instructions for completing PIAA Paperwork Sections 1-4 and Eligibility Contract on RankOne:

• Go to sycsd.rankone.com

• Click “Proceed to online forms”

• Login, Create new account, or Continue as a guest

  • If logging in or creating a new account:

    • Search for your student using Last Name and District assigned Student ID number

    • “Start Forms”

    • “View” next to their name

    • Click on each of the “Section” links that are in blue and complete each

  • If continuing as a guest:

    • Click on each of the “Section” links that are in blue and you will be required to enter your students name and District assigned Student ID number at the top of each form

The first day of football heat acclimation is Monday August 5, 2024. The first day of fall sports is Monday, August 12, 2024.

Physicals cost $15.00 per individual athlete. Cash or checks are payable to Southern York County School District. Dates for upcoming physicals will be posted on this page when available.

Please Note: If you are unable to attend sports physicals at school, you will need to make arrangements for your own physical with your family physician or at a walk-in urgent care facility.
