Southern York County School District provides free and reduced-price breakfasts and lunches under the National School Meals Program. Confidentiality of information is an important part of the program, and potentially eligible parents are encouraged to apply for services.

Students in families eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are automatically eligible for free and reduced meals. On October 1, 2022, Pennsylvania increased the income threshold for SNAP applicants, and as a result, more students are now eligible for free and reduced meals. A child who has not qualified in the past may now qualify. For more information on SNAP eligibility, please visit the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services website.
