    Student Parking Permit Registration Form 

    Student Parking Permits - please refer to page 9 of the Student Handbook for rules and regulations regarding student parking permits.  Per SYCSD Policy 226, school officials have the authority to lawfully conduct searches of student vehicles.

    The process for obtaining a student parking permit remains the same this school year.  Student parking permits will be sold in the SHS main office beginning on Monday, August 15, 2018.  Student parking permits are sold to Juniors and Seniors only. Obtaining a parking permit requires students to present the following to SHS office staff: 

    • The completed "Parking Permit Registration Form" (see link below).  This form must be signed by a parent/guardian.  Printed copies are available in the main office.  Juniors and Seniors already received this form with their schedules.
    • A Valid Driver's License (learner's permits are not accepted).
    • $10.00 cash or a check made payable to SHS.  

    Students will be issued a parking permit that must be hung on the rear-view mirror when on campus.  This school year, student parking spaces are designated by white lines and staff parking spaces are designated by red lines. Neither staff nor student parking spaces will be numbered this school year. Students are free to park in available spaces as they arrive for school each day as long as they are parked in student designated parking spaces (white lines).
