• What is the curriculum?

    Elementary Program: The elementary program is a computer-based program where students work throughout the day on assigned lessons (asynchronous program) using the Lincoln Learning Platform. Students work through instruction with the guidance of a Southern York County teacher. Small groups and 1:1 sessions are planned throughout the week to support student progress. Students participate in morning meetings that help to develop their social and emotional well being. Students have the option of attending any class in person, including art and music classes. 

    Middle School Program: The Digital Academy's middle school program offers a live, virtual instruction classroom (synchronous program) where students attend classes via Google Meets with in-person classmates. Students receive and complete school work via Google Classroom. They are included in classroom discussions and instruction and can communicate with teachers and peers as needed. They may email their teachers and counselor if additional support is needed. Students have the option of attending any class in person, including art and music classes 

    High School Program: The Digital Academy's high school program offers a live, virtual instruction classroom (synchronous program) where students attend core classes and language classes via Google Meets with in-person classmates. Students receive and complete school work via Google Classroom. They are included in classroom discussions and instruction and can communicate with teachers and peers as needed. Elective courses are run asynchronously on a limited course basis. Students receive and complete their school work via Canvas and move at their own pace. They may email their teachers and counselor if additional support is needed. Students also have the option of attending any class in person.
