Adams Electric Cooperative has funded a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior who is a resident in their service area since 2008.

Friends of the Paul Smith Library
Beginning in 2008, the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County has awarded a 4-year scholarship, which amounts to an annual donation of $2,000, to a deserving student who has provided exceptional volunteer service to the library.

Stephen Kemp Family
The Stephen E. Kemp Memorial Scholarships are given in memory of the 2008 Susquehannock graduate, which has benefited 18 students participating in the dual enrollment program at Penn State York since 2011.

Southern Middle School PTSO
Since 2009, the Southern Middle School PTSO, a volunteer parent-teacher organization, through its fundraising, sponsors an annual scholarship program of $2,000 for a Susquehannock graduate.

Julie Szymaszek
Following the 2012 school year, Mrs. Julie Szymaszek retired after nine years of service as the School District’s beloved Assistant Superintendent. Upon retirement, Julie and her husband Denny donated the funds to endow a scholarship for a Susquehannock student wishing to pursue a career in education. Upon Denny’s passing, Julie directed memorial gifts to this endowed scholarship and continues to generously contribute each year to increase the endowment.
