The Almony Family
In 2022, the Almony Family created and committed to endowing the Almony Scholarship as a way to give back to the community where they grew up, live, and do business. 

Brian Sweitzer
At the end of 2021, Brian Sweitzer endowed the Edward Sweitzer Scholarship in memory of his father. Edward Sweitzer worked for Southern York County School District for 24 years, including 23 years as the head custodian at Shrewsbury Elementary, and was a beloved member of the district and the local community. 

The Wickrowski Family
In 2022, the Wickrowski Family created and endowed the David S. Wickrowski Memorial Scholarship. He was the proud father of two SYC students. Dave unexpectedly passed away in 2020. This scholarship was formed to honor and keep David’s memory alive by recognizing a student who is pursuing a 2-year degree in a technical or service industry.
