Wrestling Makes School History

Susquehannock High School wrestler Colby Romjue recently placed third in the PIAA Wrestling South Central Regional Championships. This is the first time Romjue, who is a junior at Susquehannock, has placed for states.

Romjue has a total record of 29 wins and 2 losses – the best record on the Warrior wrestling team. Romjue credits practice for his achievements. “A lot of summer practice, hours and hours,” said Romjue. “A lot of club also, but just a lot of hard work and dedication to it. My coaches, coach Trimpy helped a lot, a lot of summer practices with just him and me in there for hours. I go to club and all of that just ties together,” said Romjue.

In 2018, Romjue placed sixth at the districts, moving up three spaces this year to advance to the states, and making Susquehannock High School history in the process. He will wrestle in the PIAA State Championships in March at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Congratulate Colby on staying Warrior Strong!
