Susquehannock High School Theatre Performing “The Addams Family School Edition”

“They’re creepy and they’re kooky. Mysterious and spooky…” and they’re coming to a virtual stage straight from Susquehannock High School’s Theatre Department. “Everyone will find something to love with this show,” said Robert Harden who will be playing Mal Beineke.

Susquehannock’s student cast will perform a virtual showing of “The Addams Family” on April 30, May 1, and May 2. Natalie Whelan, who plays Wednesday Addams, thinks “the storyline will surprise people because the show isn’t the typical Addams Family story.” Imagine what happens when Wednesday, the ultimate princess of darkness, grows up and falls in love with a sweet man from a respectable family. Things are sure to take a turn for the entire family when they host Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Our cast and crew has worked so hard with various new props and stage directions to really bring this show to the next level,” said Greta Hartman, who plays Morticia Addams. This year’s virtual performance will be livestreamed and tickets are available for all three showings. If you are ready for some much needed laughs with one dark, whacky family, you can purchase tickets here. Mark your calendars, get some popcorn ready, and join our students who are ready to share months of hard work with our community! Break a leg everyone!
