Due to York County being in the substantial level of community transmission, combined with multiple confirmed cases in the school, the recommendation from the Pennsylvania Department of Health is for Susquehannock High School to move to online only instruction for the remainder of this week. All other District buildings will remain open.
Beginning today, April 21, 2021, Susquehannock High School will be closed to students and move to online instruction through Friday, April 23, 2021. All high school extracurricular in-person activities are canceled until Monday, April 26, 2021. Teachers will share assignments and activities via email today for the remainder of the week. The high school will communicate information regarding remote instruction to all families immediately following this communication. Susquehannock High School is scheduled to reopen for in-person instruction on Monday, April 26, 2021.
As a reminder, we ask our families to continue monitoring your children for any symptoms of COVID-19 and to continue working with us to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff throughout this time.
As always the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges.
